Rachel Lewis is proud to say she grew up a Williamsburg orphan, before Williamsburg was flooded with hipsters and over priced coffee shops. She might be an orphan, but the last thing she wants you to feel is sorry for her. After being taken in by a local priest, Father Mickle, she realized it’s not where you come from – it’s where you end up. Through dedication and lots of all night study sessions, Rachel earned a full ride to NYU.After graduating in Journalism with full honors, Rachel set out to write hard-hitting global exposes. But one lucky subway ride home, the eco-friendly Rachel spotted a discarded copy of Modern Skeptic Magazine and salvaged it. Immediately after pouring through the issue she felt compelled to write Editor in Chief, Hank Galliston a five page treatise explaining that Chupacabras were nothing more than coyotes infected with Sarcoptes scabiei. Naturally, Hank hired her the next day. Rachel has never looked back and has found joy in dissecting and investigating popular myths and conspiracies. No matter how difficult the subject matter, Rachel would like to be quoted as saying that “nothing is more annoying or difficult than her co-worker, Arron Martin.” Arron overslept and was unavailable for comment or edit on this bio before publication.
