Once the butter is about the size of small peas pour in the water mixture and work together until fully combined. Make sure not to overwork the dough. Divide the dough into 2 equal discs and cover with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour or up to one day. This dough can be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months.

instructions Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Remove dough from the fridge and roll out on a lightly floured surface to 1/4-inch thickness. Using a fluted pastry wheel cut 1 inch wide strips. Cut the strips to 4 inches in length. Transfer the strips to a parchment lined sheet tray. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with the topping of your choice.
