Summer is almost over but before it gets too cold make yourself this cobbler. It's got everything you love about summer in one fruit-filled cobbler.

  • For the Cobbler Filling:
  • 36 frozen cherries (or fresh - and pitted)
  • 4 peaches (peeled and cut into same size as cherries)
  • 1 stick butter
  • For the Cobbler Topping:
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 pinches of salt

    instructions Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

    ingredients 1 stick butter
    instructions Place the stick of butter in a pie dish and melt in oven.

    1 cup flour
    1/2 cup sugar
    2 teaspoons baking soda
    2 pinches of salt
    instructions For the Cobbler Topping: Whisk together the dry ingredients and add the milk.

    instructions For the Cobbler Filling: Carefully remove the dish from the oven and add the fruit.

    instructions Pour cobbler mix over the fruit and bake for about 45 minutes, or until the fruit is bubbly and the cobbler is golden brown. Tent with foil if the cobbler is getting too brown.
