There’s a new face joining The Chew table and it’s chef Jamika Pessoa.  For more than half a decade Jamika has worked in Atlanta as a personal chef and star of the hit show The Next Food Network star.  Through this experience she created and refined her own personal style of cooking.  She often starts out with classically delicious dishes but adds a pinch of flavor and fun to each of them.  According to her website, she likes to blend the flavors of her “Caribbean heritage with her Southern roots” and she makes her own fun fusion. 

In her new role as a Chew Crew correspondent, Chef Jamika will travel and report on food news from around the country for the show.  She will also join the co-hosts occasionally in studio and take her seat at the table.  With any luck the rest of The Chew family will get to taste many of her sassy signature dishes.
