When Carla shows reservations about an herb shelf in her apartment, Michael shares a few extra Spring gardening tips to convince her to give gardening a try:

Think about your space: If you have a limited amount of space for gardening, consider growing tomatoes, which grow lengthwise, rather than taking up precious horizontal space. Broccoli, however, takes up a lot of space, and is easier to grow in larger spaces.

Watering your plants: One of the biggest problems Michael encounters is that people tend to not water their plants enough in the beginning of the season, and then they overcompensate at the end of the season. Stick to a watering regimen based on the type of produce you would like to grow.

Though Carla may find gardening a challenge, hopefully she will enjoy having a host of fresh produce and herbs this Summer!
