On today’s Last Bites, Clinton shares a story from his college years, which confirms that his knack for style began at an early age. In his senior year of college, Clinton no longer had money for food, so his father sent him $100 to make it through the final weeks. At this time, Clinton came across a beautiful tie while shopping. The saleswoman convinced him to buy it, and thus he used the $100 to fund his purchase. Clinton sported his new accessory at graduation, and inevitably, his parents commented on it, asking how he managed to afford the tie. When Clinton responded that he used the $100 to pay for his tie, his father said “next time, you’ll eat your tie!” To this day, Clinton still has this tie, and plans to wear it on the show. Surrounded by all of the Chew crew's delicious dishes, Clinton, hopefully, will not have to eat his tie any time soon.
