Last Bites: December 19, 2012

  • By The Chew Crew

On today’s Last Bites, the co-hosts discuss Carla’s Progressive Party segment, in which she offers an inside scoop into her unique holiday dinner party. As you can recall from last week, Carla shared this thrifty holiday party idea, in which she decided to round up her neighbors, and each host a course of the holiday meal in their respective apartments. Together, Carla and her frugal friends apartment hop, making pit stops around the building until they have made their way through all courses.

As Michael points out, the format of Carla’s party requires neighbors to be friendly and interact on a regular basis. The dynamic is rather different in Michael’s building, in which the residents rarely interact. For this reason, a progressive party would not be the most practical option for Michael. Is your situation more similar to Carla’s or Michael's? How do you think this event would go over in your neighborhood?
