Spring is officially here and it’s time to start thinking about slimming down for summer. Short shorts, bathing suits and sundresses are usually not an inviting thought after a winter filled with heavy meals.
Before you start dieting like crazy the University of Colorado just suggested an easier and more relaxing way to lose the winter weight – sleep. According to the study people who are sleep deprived, even for just one week, tend to overeat and snack more and that leads to weight gain. It also found that consistently sleeping less than six hours a night can lead to a two-pound weight gain in a single week. Do you eat better when you’re well rested?
