Foreign Tribes: Phi Sigma Zetas
Description: Native to Epps College. Tribe of mostly African American females grouped together for the purpose of “sisterhood.” Entry requires a rigorous set of tasks, often referred to as “hazing” or “pledging.” Several of the classics include forcing pledges to eat large quantities of mayonnaise, circling areas of fat on a pledges body and sleep depriving pledges. After these tasks are completed to satisfaction, the pledge has the honor of becoming a sister.Activities: Perfecting their party walk. Exchanging snide remarks. Sleeping with each other’s husbands.
