Hipsters

Description: A rarity in suburbia, hipsters still have more of a place there than they would care to admit.  Identified by their tight jeans, plaid shirts, and retro glasses, hipsters tend to take an aggressive interest in anything supposedly misunderstood or deep.  Such items -- obscure poetry, henna tattoos, music with whispered lyrics -- touch hipsters’ souls and speak to their existential angst in ways no other segment of society can truly appreciate.  Male hipsters tend to have beards, the less full the more respected.  Female hipsters trend toward knit caps, though male hipsters can also make the same mistake.

Favorite Bands: Bon Iver, Iron and Wine, Fleet Foxes.  But hipsters like them for different reasons than you do, so get over it.
