Daniel was not doing well after seeing Jack and Emily together. He coped the only way he knew how and that was to get smashed with his buddy Tyler.

In an inebriated state, the two of them made their way down to the Stowaway and made moves on two local floozies.

Nolan happened to be at the bar at the time. He called Emily to let her know what was happening.

By the time Emily got to the Stowaway, Daniel was long gone.
