Her past includes time in a juvenile detention facility where she met the real Emily Thorne, a tough girl with whom Amanda Clarke eventually switched identities. Faux-Amanda got payoff money from Emily early on, but has worked as a stripper recently. When she learns the whereabouts of her former cellmate, Amanda kills security man Frank and heads for The Hamptons.
