Because of Victoria, the rest of Emily’s young years were anything but ideal.  Initially after her father’s incarceration, Emily was placed in an institution. After her release, the state placed her in the foster system. She set fire to two foster homes and that’s how she wound up in juvenile detention. After her release she was a bit of a wayward soul. After boozing it up for awhile, Nolan presented Emily with the infinity box and her father’s journals. Emily knew what really happened and vowed to take down Victoria and the other Graysons.
