In a surprise decision, the judge in Daniel Grayson's case decided to deny his bail. During the arraignment, the judge stated that money and power would have no influence in the trial.  Daniel is now remanded to the maximum-security correctional facility on Riker's Island until his trial. (Seems like a "don't drop the soap" joke belongs here, but that would be in poor taste.)
