Character Bio

Best friend and business associate of Marta's husband, Evan. Mike, along with Evan and Marta's brother Irwin, ran a fishing charter business, which they used as a front to illegally export Humboldt County marijuana – arguably the best pot in the world. Normally the fun-loving jokester, life falls apart for Mike after Evan's death. The one positive thing he has going for him is his marriage to Dina, for whom he will do and buy anything for to keep happy. Luckily for him, Dina chooses to look the other way when Mike’s on-again off-again cocaine addiction spirals out of control and the debts he has all over town accrue. Mike must work with Marta to deal with their Schiller dilemma. They are odd bedfellows indeed, considering Marta thinks that Mike may have murdered her husband.

Actor Bio

Lee Tergesen's impressive film credits include Monster, opposite Charlize Theron, The Forgotten, with Julianne Moore, Wayne's World, Shaft, Point Break, Helena from the Wedding and Red Tails.

On television Tergesen starred as Tobias Beecher for six seasons on the acclaimed HBO series, Oz. He also starred in HBO's Emmy Award-winning miniseries, Generation Kill, and Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee. Additional recent credits include FOX's House, CBS' Criminal Minds, The New Adventures of Old Christine, a recurring role on ABC's Desperate Housewives, as well as a recurring role on Showtime's The Big C.
