Agent James Ramos started in the Oakland PD working on the vice squad before transferring to the Bureau to help combat Organized Crime in the Bay area. He's tracking the Petrovas in an attempt to bring down the San Francisco Bratva when Evan is gunned down on his watch. Marta becomes his connection to the case, and a much bigger fish has suddenly surfaced in the likes of Schiller. However, Ramos has a savior complex, especially when it comes to women. And this need to save not only extends to Marta, but to her sister Katerina.
Clifton Collins, Jr. is one of Hollywood's most versatile talents. He received accolades as well as an Alma Award nomination for Best Actor for his portrayal of Perry Smith in director Bennett Miller's Academy Award-nominated Capote.
As one of Hollywood busiest actors, Collins' film credits include a role in Terrence Malick's upcoming feature Knight of Cups, opposite Christian Bale; the sci-fi Warner Brothers/Legendary Films feature, Pacific Rim, directed by Guillermo Del Toro and co-starring Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba and Charlie Day; and the Taylor Hackford-directed feature Parker, opposite Jason Statham and Jennifer Lopez. Previously, Collins starred alongside Amy Adams and Emily Blunt in the Sundance hit Sunshine Cleaning, and with an all-star cast in Star Trek. He was also recently seen in Crank 2: High Voltage, the Miramax film Extract, alongside Ben Affleck, Brothers, alongside Jake Gyllenhaal and Natalie Portman, and Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day. Other notable film credits include Traffic, directed by Steven Soderbergh, opposite Benicio Del Toro, Lionsgate's Rules of Attraction, directed by Roger Avary, and Tigerland, directed by Joel Schumacher. Even at the beginning of his career Collins found himself working with some of the brightest young filmmakers, including in the Hughes Brothers' Menace to Society and Dead Presidents, John Singleton's Poetic Justice, Kevin Reynolds' 187, Antoine Fuqua's The Replacement Killers, Still Waters and the award-winning independent film Little Chenier.
No stranger to the small screen, in 2010 Collins shot a starring role in NBC's drama The Event, an emotional, high-octane conspiracy thriller. He received an Emmy nomination for his role in the miniseries Thief, opposite Andre Braugher, and recurred on such other series as 24, The Shield and Alias.
Collins directed the video for Zac Brown Band's single, Chicken Fried, as well as the music videos for the Zac Brown Band follow up single, Whatever It Is, and Jamey Johnson's High Cost of Living.
