Nobody likes Rumplestiltskin. Okay, there’s Belle, but other than her, pretty much nobody likes Rumplestiltskin. He’s cruel, vicious, manipulative and calls everyone “dearie.” But if you asked him, he’d say he was only giving people what they really wanted and making fair deals. Not his fault nobody else seems to read the fine print. But for every Ogre War he’s ended or kindness he’s shown to Belle, there’s a murdered fairy godmother or a twisted deal someone was forced into making with him. He’s a schemer, a trickster and a killer.

So why do we love watching him so much?
