If there’s one thing that matters most to King George, it’s family. Another is legacy. The third is wealth and power. Prince Charming denied him all of it when he refused to marry King Midas’ daughter, Princess Abigail, and instead pursued his love for Princess Snow White. King George was humiliated, not to mention robbed of the treasure Midas had promised him. He vowed revenge on his “son” and sent his soldiers after the erstwhile Prince, but never quite got his revenge. Even so, Charming spared his life when given the chance to kill him, despite his multiple attempts to ruin his adopted son’s chance at having a family of his own with Snow White.
