When Henry gets accused of shoplifting, a pair of local orphans come to Emma’s attention as the new town Sheriff. Regina is pushing for the two to be sent off to foster care in Boston, but as a child of the system herself, Emma is determined to find the kids’ unidentified father. After a lot of digging, she figures out that a local mechanic is the father, but she can’t convince him to take his children in. On her way to take the children to Boston, her cruiser conveniently breaks down, and when the mechanic comes to fix it, he’s finally brought face-to-face with his son and daughter. Overwhelmed, he takes them in and their family is reunited.
