Ashley, who we recognize as Cinderella from Fairy Tale Land, is pregnant and has secretly struck a deal with Mr. Gold to turn the baby over to her boyfriend’s father, giving up all of her rights to the child. After a misguided pep-talk from Emma, Ashley attacks Mr. Gold in his shop and steals her contract before running for Boston. But, as Henry already explained to Emma, bad things happen every time someone tries to leave Storybrooke, and Ashley ends up in a car-wreck and in labor on the side of the road. Emma and Henry get her to the hospital on-time, but she stills owes Mr. Gold the baby. In exchange for Mr. Gold backing down, Emma promises him a favor, but we’re all left wondering what it will be.
