Prince James was one of the greatest heroes in Fairy Tale Land, but when he was slain on the battlefield, his father, King George, needed a new heir to slay a dragon for King Midas and save his kingdom. Rumplestiltskin arrives, having found Prince James and delivering him to King George as part of a bargain, and suggests that he can find a replacement—James’ twin brother! The King agrees, in exchange for the location of a certain Fairy Godmother, and Rumplestiltskin gets James’ twin brother to leave his family farm to slay the dragon. James’ twin, posing as the brother he never met, kills the beast and is rewarded by King Midas with the promise of gold and the offer of his daughter’s hand in marriage. The new James is forced to except for the good of the kingdom and heads off toward Midas’ palace with his new fiancé.
