In a foreboding forest in Fairy Tale Land, Aurora, Mulan and Phillip make camp. Phillip tells Aurora that he is off to gather some firewood, and gives her a tender kiss before departing. It’s clear he doesn’t mean to return. When Aurora and Mulan figure that out, they go after him. They find him in a clearing, waiting for the Wraith to claim his soul, but neither woman wants to see him sacrifice himself. Mulan even offers to take the mark herself. Clearly, both women are in love with the dashing Prince. But it’s too late, the Wraith arrives. He says “I love you”—but to whom?!—and drops his torch, letting the Wraith suck out his soul. The sorrowful Princesses take the Prince back to the battered castle and lay him to rest upon the same dais Aurora was sleeping on the day before. Suddenly, Mulan hears some movement from a pile of rubble. She moves aside a stone and finds the reason the Wraith was there—Emma and Mary Margaret.

That’s right! This ISN’T a Fairy Tale Land flashback. This is present-day, post-Curse Fairy Tale Land! And Emma and Mary Margaret—or should we say Snow White—are trapped there with two very upset Princesses. Hold on, because season 2 is just getting started!
