In Fairy Tale Land, Charming has finally had enough of listening to his "father," King George. He's running away from the arranged marriage with King Midas' daughter, Abigail, to find Snow White. But as he makes his escape from King George's knights, he's taken by a group of hooded men. It turns out that these are Anabelle's personal guard. When she confronts Charming, she admits that she doesn't want to marry him, either and is willing to help him escape. The man she loves is a brave knight of her father's realm who was accidentally turned to gold by her father's curse while he was protecting them. She's tried everything to break the spell, except for water from a magical lake, Nostos, that is said to have the power to return that which has been lost. Charming volunteers to get the water, even when Anabelle tells him that the lake is guarded by a vicious creature that drowns all who come to the water's edge.
