While the hunt for the Queen's mystery man continues, she's been locked in her chambers. Her father and manservant, Henry, goes to the Genie with a locked box, telling him that within it is the only thing that can free his daughter. The Genie takes the box to Regina, but when she opens it we see a pair of nasty-looking vipers. She plans to let herself be bitten and hope for the best in the afterlife, but the Genie can't bear it. He suggests that the King die instead, and then the two of them can be together. That night, he sneaks the snakes into the King's bedchamber and unleashes them. After the snakes have killed the King, the Genie returns to Regina to tell her they can finally be together. But she informs him that the guards have figured out that the snakes are from the same part of the world as the Genie and they know he was the killer. Finally, the Genie understands he's been played. It looks like this Queen is still plenty evil. He uses his one wish so that he can always be with Regina, and the wish ends up trapping him in her mirror, just like we've seen him before!
