In Fairy Tale Land, we finally get to meet Snow White's father as he finds a magic lamp on the shoreline. As he rubs some seaweed off of it, out comes the fabled Genie, looking a lot like Sidney! He promises the King three wishes, but the King already has everything he could ever want. Instead, he uses his first wish to free the Genie and his second wish to give his third wish to the Genie. Wow! What a nice guy, right? The Genie is obviously thankful and returns with the King to his castle where he meets the lovely Snow White and the King's wife, Regina! But this isn't the Queen as we've seen her before—she's sensitive and gracious. Could this be before she became the villainess we know? Either way, the Genie is in love! He sees that Regina feels trapped in a marriage with a man who will always love the memory of his dead first wife more than he does her. The Genie gives the Queen a mirror as a gift and she writes in her diary about how it awakens love within her, which is touching until the King reads it and charges his new friend, the Genie, with locating the Queen's new suitor.
