In Storybrooke, Mary Margaret has found a wounded dove. She's trying to get it back to its flock before they fly away, but there's a big storm coming. When MM almost falls into a ravine, David shows up out of nowhere to save her. They take shelter from the storm in a cabin in the woods, and almost wind up kissing by the fire, but Mary Margaret brings up the pregnancy test. David had no idea. After the storm passes and the bird makes it back to its flock, David and Mary Margaret both head home, each deciding to move on from each other. David promises Kathryn that he will work on their marriage and Mary Margaret promises herself that she'll stop swinging by Granny's at 7:15 every morning. But when the two of them both try stopping by later, each trying to avoid the other, the whole plan goes bad. Instead, they end up kissing passionately right out on the street, where Mayor Mills gets a good look, and she doesn't like the sight of these two love birds getting together!
