That’s basically the same advice that Rumplestiltskin gives the Evil Queen. In exchange for telling her how to enact the Curse, the Queen promises that Rumplestiltskin will be wealthy and powerful in the new land the Curse creates, and that she will have to do anything he asks should he say “please.” She agrees and he tells her that if she really is serious about unleashing the Dark Curse, she will need to sacrifice the heart of the thing she loves most. That turns out to be her father, Henry, who has served her loyally for years. He tries to convince her that she can move past whatever Snow White did to make her want revenge so badly, but the Queen can’t. She rips out her father’s heart and uses it to unleash the Curse!
