Once upon a time, in a city called Boston, a young bail bondsperson named Emma Swan is celebrating her birthday alone when a 10-year-old boy named Henry knocks on her door. He’s from a town called Storybrooke and he’s the son she gave up for adoption. He also tells Emma that she’s really the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming, and that everyone else who lives in Storybrooke is a person from that world trapped in our own. Emma doesn’t know what to think, but agrees to take her son back home to Storybrooke.
