Back before they were the biggest power couple in Fairy Tale Land, Prince Charming—or James—was actually betrothed to another woman named Abigail, whom he clearly wasn’t in love with. When an outlaw robs James and Abigail’s carriage, he chases the thief down. To his surprise, the thief is Snow White! The two dislike each other at first—she dubs him “Charming” sarcastically—but after he saves her from some of The Queen’s guards and she helps him recover his mother’s ring from some particularly nasty trolls, they begin to feel a connection. Even so, the two of them go their separate ways—him off to marry Abigail out of duty to his kingdom and her to continue a life on the run from The Queen.
