In pursuit of Snow White, Prince Charming learned that she was planning to kill The Evil Queen. When he finally found her, he tried everything to convince her to set aside her wrath, but a potion had stripped her of her memories and love for him and she wouldn't listen. Out of options, he dove in front of the magic arrow intended for The Queen. His willingness to die to protect her soul reawakened Snow White's love and memories. But the lovers' reunion was short-lived as King George's soldiers arrived and took Charming away. King George intended to have his "son" beheaded, but The Evil Queen arrived and struck a bargain with the King in exchange for Prince Charming's life. She then used him as leverage to convince Snow White to willingly take a bite of the poisoned apple, cursing her to sleep forever.
