OMG! Are your minds blown? My mind is BLOWN! First there was the part with the guy in New York and it's like, who? But then it ends with the reveal that not only is Fairy Tale Land still around, but stuff is happening there while things are happening in Storybrooke. And now Emma
and Snow White
are trapped there!
As always, a big episode with a lot going on, but did you see everything there was to see? For instance:
In this touching scene where Mary Margaret
(Snow White) and David
) are finally reunited with their daughter, Emma, notice the large sign on the wall by Granny's Diner.
"Atlantic Twine & Net". Looks like a subtle hint at a certain nautical villain due to make an appearance later this season.
Every visit to Mr. Gold's
pawnshop is a gold mine of secrets. Some good pieces on display in this episode include a candelabra that hints at fan-favorite Lumiere from Disney's Beauty and the Beast
And of course the spinning wheel Rumplestiltskin is known for, though it seems he's having a bit of trouble spinning straw into gold these days.
Finally, keen-eyed fans may have noticed Mary Margaret grabbing a very particular brand of scotch for help when fighting off the Wraith. That's right, it's MacCutcheon, the label referenced several times in the series LOST
, which Once Upon a Time
co-creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz were writers for.
