Do They Love...Fairy Tales?

Really, who doesn’t? We all know them, or think we know them, and they’re stories we can all talk about. But maybe the best thing about Once Upon a Time is that it takes those stories and twists them. It reinterprets and re-imagines in unique and unpredictable ways. It combines those characters together into one cohesive world and pits them against stakes that are higher than they would have ever faced alone. It makes those characters more than just names in a story and gives them personalities and motivations that mean as much to us now as they did when the stories were first told. If someone still has that childlike wonder at sitting back and being told a good, meaningful story, you should be watching this show with them.
