Golden Girls: Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere
Pop the champagne! Nashville stars Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere have been nominated for 2013 Golden Globe Awards.
Connie is nominated for her performance as powerhouse country music star Rayna Jaymes. She told the L.A. Times, "I just thought it was a great opportunity to play a very complex powerful woman. And the country music world just seemed like such a fun and exciting world to step into. It's been a blast."
Hayden, who is nominated for her role as up-and-coming singer Juliette Barnes, shared her excitment on twitter, telling fans, "I woke up to this news, cried and then made myself a grilled cheese. I am so honored!"
