Gloria honors Jay’s “no surprises” wish for his 65th birthday by not revealing her big pregnancy news. But there’s little she can do about her hubby’s kidnapping at the hands of Phil, Shorty (guest star Chazz Palminteri) and Miles (guest star Ernie Hudson). They take the birthday boy out for a quiet day of fishing which includes Jay getting tossed in the lake twice and socked in the mouth once. Phil says, “I’d like to apologize for punching you in the head. It really was the only way to save you since you were bound... and hooded, which leads me to my second apology.”
