A Quick Q&A with Jai Rodriguez

What drew you to playing Geoffrey?
Well, Geoffrey wasn't what I've created him to be when I auditioned for the part. Originally he was way more urban and I kept a piece of that but added an NYC gay Puerto Rican flavor to him. He's fought to get where he is today and is determined to better himself. I love his drive and passion for his work and his ability to see things in a way others don't.

Do you have a favorite line from your character?
Yes: "Oh my God, I was hoping someone would bring me cookies. But not ANY cookies. No no, I want cookies that come with a LONG story behind them."

What's your favorite thing to do in California?
Living in Southern California, I enjoy doing most things outdoors. It's beautiful year-round. I am a bit of a foodie, so outdoor dining is one of my favorite things to do.

Who's your favorite singer?
I don't really have a favorite singer. I love most things that are Top 20. I am a Sirius radio junkie!
