So Eve will be going to my high school next year. For a while I was trying to decide if I should take her under my wing or totally shun her and act like she's not my sister. After all, a dorky sibling could totally derail my three years of hard work becoming the most popular girl in school. But I'm really proud of Eve, and I think she made some pretty big strides over the past few days.
Well, of course she did -- I was guiding her. I'm like a hot version of that mad scientist guy, if he created popular girls instead of weird monsters with pegs in their necks. Look at Janessa. She was nothing when she transferred here as a sophomore. But I saw something in her -- a glimmer of beauty below a tomboy surface. (Talent recognizes talent, you see.) She was nothing but a star softball player with a 3.5 GPA when I discovered her. Now she wears the most stylish maternity clothes of any of the expecting teen moms at school.
But even with all my supervision, Eve's still a bit of a wild card in a couple ways. First of all: She thinks for herself. Like, all the time. For example, she picks out clothes just based on like... I don't even know what. It's not the stuff all her friends wear. I think she just looks at the clothes at the store and decides what she likes. Big red flag right there. Also, her smartness is going to be an issue. A sister on the Dean's List isn't nearly as awesome as a sister on Dean T.'s list of hotties.
And I get that sports are her thing and stuff, but how long is that going to last? I mean, if there was some magical professional basketball league for women or something, then sure, keep at it. But it's obviously a lot more productive to focus all that energy on aiding my campaign for Homecoming Queen.
