Someone kisses Sonny awake.  Todd's day of reckoning has arrived and he’s on trial.  He's determined to win Carly back and anxious about whether Johnny's associate, who witnessed his involvement in switching the babies, is going to show up.   

AJ, having found out that Tracy's onto his quest for the relish recipe, arrives to ask Carly about another possible heir/shareholder to ELQ.  When AJ gets word from Liz that their date is still on, he makes a reservation, thus causing Carly to show contempt. 

Spinelli tries to back out of his deal with Tracy to find the relish ingredients because of Ellie's involvement in the quest on AJ and Michael's behalf.  

Starr's distracted by her father's trial.  She briefly focuses on the analysis of relish ingredients with Ellie.  Sabrina encourages her to keep her date with AJ; in turn, Liz encourages Sabrina to tell Patrick about her feelings for him.
