McBain has his hands full with the murder and with coordinating the search for the Ferncliff escapees.  He's concerned about Sam, who is there before attending Kristina's arraignment.  The mystery deepens.  

After Sam leaves to go home to Danny, John visits Rafe in jail, asking him to help him figure out who really killed Rafe's mother. Todd  has a plan about how to maintain his freedom.  Lucy's horrified to learn about the murder and fears for Rafe's safety.  

While waiting for Kristina's arraignment, Sonny's disappointed that he couldn’t convince Connie to drop the charges against her. Shawn offers to help by trying to force her into it. Shawn catches onto the fact that Sonny cares about Connie.  

Meanwhile, Olivia, independent of Sonny, tries to convince Connie to go easy on Kristina.  Michael prepares to attend Kristina's arraignment while Starr will attend Johnny's sentencing. Indeed, when he sees him, it's bad news. 

Starr's shocked when her father shows up at Michael's apartment. Johnny and Kristina meet while waiting for their court appearances.  Johnny expresses his condolences about Trey and offers encouragement to scared Kristina.  Molly claims she's waiting for Sam at the PCPD but instead sneaks down to see Rafe in jail.
