Spinelli tries to tell Ellie that he slept with Maxie on New Year's Eve but is interrupted by Patrick. He tells them that Ellie is paralyzed below the waist. Will it be permanent?

Britt interrupts Patrick and Sabrina with a kiss. When he leaves, Britt claws at Sabrina, bullying her to resign as Emma’s babysitter when Patrick returns.

Bribing a guard for his cellphone, Luke calls Anna. She confirms the truth of "Duke," and Luke is happy to hear Anna is OK despite Faison. Anna and Duke receive difficult news: Robert’s coma condition has not changed. Duke tries to comfort her, but she is having hard time accepting him back into her life as the real Duke.
