After the crash, uninjured Starr and Michael check on Kristina and Trey who appear to be unharmed. Starr discovers Connie hanging onto the edge of the same cliff where Cole and Hope died. She refuses to help her, until Johnny appears and tells Starr the truth: he is responsible for their deaths. Starr decides to pull Connie up, and she wonders what happened to the girl she hit in the road. Meanwhile, Michael finds Ellie -- is she dead? Later, Trey collapses.

Distraught over her miscarriage, Maxie stumbles to the GH rooftop to find drunk Spinelli, who has assumed Ellie dumped him. Spinelli takes an upset Maxie home. Lulu and Dante arrive, but before Maxie can tell them the news, Spinelli interrupts that everything is fine with the baby. Eventually, Maxie and Spinelli, emotionally bereft, wind up in a kiss.

Carly and Todd's kiss keeps going… and going. They head to his Metrocourt hotel room, and they finally make love.

Patrick and Sabrina's fraught moment is broken by a phone call from Britt. She arrives, naked under her coat, and bullies Sabrina into leaving. Patrick is surprised she left without saying goodbye, and Britt uses the opportunity.
