Elizabeth and Sabrina ask Tracy underwrite the Nurses' Ball, but she turns them down flat when she learns Monica is involved. Consoling themselves over drinks, they run into Patrick and Britt on a date, and Sabrina sinks knowing they will spend the night together. She admits her crush to Liz. Meanwhile Patrick realizes it is too soon for him to be intimate with another woman.

Sonny and AJ blame each other for Jason's death and fight over Michael. Meanwhile, Michael lashes out at Carly, finding himself torn between two men and their claims of fatherhood. Later, Michael refuses to leave AJ alone in prison.

After missing Alice and Monica's contributions to Quartermaine living, Tracy decides to drop charges against Monica and Alice for assault – but makes it clear she intends to keep AJ in jail for good.

Dante and Lulu decide to move forward in surrogate pregnancy, but they wonder how they will pay for it.

Spinelli helps Maxie and Ellie move in – but Maxie leaves when she sees too much PDA, and she gets comfort and advice from Lulu and Dante. As Maxie calls Spinelli to declare her love, Spinelli and Ellie decide to have sex.
