Jason appears to be mortally wounded, and Duke kicks his body into the water. Bernie calls Sonny before Duke shoots him again. Joe escapes as Sonny arrives, and Bernie dies telling Sonny that Jason is in the water. After Sonny dives in search for Jason, PCPD responders discover that Bernie was shot by two different guns.

Sam waits happily for Jason to return home after thanking McBain for his help in uncovering the baby switch. Later, Sonny is at the door with grim news.

Tracy finds dying Joe at her door. He tells her the truth about why she never got ill from Jerry's water virus and begs her to call Trey for him.

Luke convinces Anna to match Duke's fingerprints to the PCPD database. To Luke's chagrin, they come up a perfect match.

Worried about their fathers, Michael and Trey want to follow Sonny to the docks with Joe on the loose, but Starr begs them to stay safe with her. Trey gets a call from Tracy, and he rushes over to find his father dying. Joe tells Trey that Sonny shot him.

Lulu explains to Dante about her inability to carry a baby to term, and her doctor makes it clear it has nothing to do with her abortion. Heartbroken, Lulu breaks down, and her doctor gives them literature outlining alternative parenting plans.
