Jason and Sam return to the penthouse with the baby, ready to be a family. Jason and Sam make love. Later, he gets an urgent message from Bernie -- and later, as Sam gets a surprise visit from McBain, we see Jason get shot by Duke.

Poised to tell Carly the truth, Todd is interrupted by Johnny and thinks better of it. Diane arrives as Todd's lawyer, and EOD, Todd lies to Carly.

Duke sweeps Anna off her feet -- but Luke puts an end to romance when he floats Duke is an imposter. He rips hair from him for a DNA test.

Startled by Starr, Joe rushes off to the docks to kill Bernie, who is prepared to tell Jason that Duke is behind the money transfer in Kristina's name. Joe wounds Bernie but is killed by Jason -- only for Duke to arrive.

Lulu visits Dr. V and is touched when she learns Dante has submitted his own fertility test. Later, she gets bad news -- a sonogram reveals she cannot have a child.
