It all unravels when everyone realizes Connie has taken hold. Starr attacks her, and Sonny tries to get Connie committed – but is leveled with the fact that only her husband can do that. Later, Sonny makes an emotional plea to Kate, begging her to fight Connie and come back.

Shocked Carly demands Johnny tell the truth – but he has no choice but to go along with Connie's lies. Carly slaps Johnny, and insists there is more to the story.

Trey bursts in to Joe about to kill Kristina. Joe explains he's rigged it so Trey will inherit the Corinthos fortune, but Trey begs him not to do this. The gun fires accidentally, wounding Joe – and he runs off. Trey and Kristina reunite emotionally.

Tracy and Monica discuss her on/off relationship with Joe. She decides to truly end things with him, but later, she finds him on her doorstep, bleeding.

Jason and McBain puzzle out how to go about repairing the damage of the baby-switch. Later, John arrives at Tea's ready to prove the truth about the baby, just as Jason is poised to tell Sam. Meanwhile, Sam forgives Liz for her lies.
