Jason stops outside Sam's motel room door with an emotional request for his wife's forgiveness. As Jason lets himself into Sam's motel room, Sam emerges from McBain's room with her baby -- they miss each other. Later an injured McBain runs into Jason -- and later, they set out together to find wife and son. Todd and Heather work to save Tea's son -- but their efforts can't revive the baby. Looking for help, Sam interrupts them and falls unconscious. Todd tends to Sam's baby – just as Tea revives and assumes her son is alive and well. Todd does not tell her the truth, and Heather convinces Todd to let the truth lie dead. EOD, Heather tells unconscious Sam she is getting exactly what she deserves.

Carly tells Johnny she can forgive him for cheating as long as he follows one ground rule – complete honesty. Johnny almost comes clean to Carly but decides against it in fear she will leave him. Later, Johnny and Carly are back together (and how!).

Tracy and Luke are booked for illegal disposal of a gun, and Lulu wrestles with keeping a secret from Dante about her father's innocence.
