2012: Johnny's downward spiral culminated when he shot and killed his grandfather, Anthony, for his lifetime of crimes. But that wasn't the first time Johnny took at shot at Anthony -- HE was the one who tried to kill Anthony and caused the car accident that killed Starr Manning's boyfriend and daughter. He convinced Connie (Kate's alter) to take the rap, but his guilty feelings would plague him, especially as Starr began thinking of him as a friend.
