1999: Alexis and Ned were close friends with Jax and Chloe. But in order that Chloe wouldn't lose her fashion business (don't ask), Ned married Chloe (don't ask) and Alexis married Jax (seriously, don't). This marked the beginning of Alexis and Jax's longstanding friendship.
