Virus Outbreak: A monkey-borne encephalitis outbreak caused no end of tragedy and heartache for Port Charles. With people falling sick left and right and only so much antidote to go around, hard choices had to be made. Alexis's life was saved with the last dose, leaving Sam's brother Danny to die, along with beloved Dr. Tony Jones, as well as Courtney Matthews, who gave birth to her and Nikolas's baby, only to die shortly thereafter.
