Edward Quartermaine & Heather Webber: After Edward (during the brief period he looked like Jed Allan) was widowed by his beloved Lila, he was in quite a vulnerable state, which made him all too perfect prey for Heather, who had been looking to get her hands on the Quartermaine millions for decades. They managed to walk down the aisle, but then faced the post-nuptial complication of Heather trying to kill Edward and inherit his fortune. Her plot was foiled by Luke and Tracy, and she was soon shipped off to Ferncliff.
