I'd have to say AJ. I'm a fan of Sean Kanan's portrayal as the original character. I've also always felt he was unfairly kept from his son by Carly and Sonny. They were despicable. And I say this because his return took SOOO long. I really didn't think it'd ever happen. Brenda and Laura I wasn't that surprised about, and it didn't seem to be so long a gap until their return.

Brenda! Totally Brenda! Or any member of the Scorpio family. (I miss Robin so much!) Does Laura count? Because every time Luke and/or Laura come back it's just like the first time!

My all-time favorite return from the dead was Laura in 1981 returning to Port Charles and Luke, after being held captive by Stavros Cassadine. The scene where Luke is the new lonely Mayor on the balcony spotting Laura on the grounds and screaming her name was one of the best scenes I've ever watched.

Jerry Jacks -- I love his character on the show, he is always bringing trouble to Port Charles, from hotel hold-ups through poisoning the entire city, and 'til this day, I still think that he is very much alive.

Laura's return in 1983 was the best. Romantic beyond belief. I went crazy for the weeks leading up to it, seeing her ankles and back as she snuck around and watched Luke. Then Luke sees her out of the lawn and they are together. Just wonderful. And it was a great lead into new story of Cassidine/Spencer.

Mine WILL be Robin - that sweet little girl that we were introduced to so many years ago. As a little one she was as cute as her own on-screen daughter is today. I've loved the resurrection of Heather. I hoped she stays around to stir up trouble - although she'll have to tone it down a bit to somehow stay out of prison. My favorite comeback character though is Anna Devane. She's a marvelous actress and she effortlessly stepped right back into her place in Port Charles.
